Festive calligraphy classes

A flower shop, where you can pull up a chair and enjoy a glass of wine among the blooms. A "new look" for this traditional gifting pair, and in a unique space which has been made into the essence of what Stems & Vines HQ is: delicious female-focused wine list, with a short but satisfying bar-snack menu all to enjoy amongst the flowers, with good tunes playing throughout. Opened October 2025 and founded by Philippa Smith - a local champion of female-led small businesses and local artists.
Please note: the workshop takes place downstairs and there is no step-free access.

They are 2 hours. The evening session on Saturday 5 December includes a welcome drink, so there’s an extra 15 minutes factored in :)

Christmas Calligraphy evening is £69 per person, and includes mulled wine and mince pies.
Christmas Calligraphy morning is £59 per person.
For both sessions you can add on a Festive Bellini for £10.

The Saturday evening is for all creative levels, ages 18+.
